Shipping policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. SHIPPING AREA

We currently ship only to addresses within the United States.

We do not ship to PO Boxes or to APO, FPO or DPO addresses.

2. PROCESSING TIME

Stock items are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed.

Personalized and engraved items require production and are processed within the production time stated on the product page. Production begins when you approve your proof, not when you place the order, so a delay in approving a proof delays the order by the same amount.

Orders are not processed on weekends or United States public holidays.

Processing includes order verification, any personalization or production, quality checks, packing and handover to the carrier.

We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders for fraud prevention, address verification or security purposes.

3. TOTAL DELIVERY TIME, AND YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Delivery time has two separate parts, and both are estimates:

Processing, as set out in section 2. For stock items, 1 to 3 business days.
Transit, after the order has been dispatched. Typically 4 to 7 business days.

For a stock item that means a typical total of about 5 to 10 business days from order to delivery. Where a product page states a shipping or delivery time, read it together with this section. If anything on our site appears to promise a shorter total than this section, this section is the accurate statement and it controls.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We ship orders within the time stated at the point of sale, and in any event we aim to ship within 30 days of receiving your order and payment.

If we are unable to ship your order within 30 days, we will notify you, give you a revised shipping date, and offer you the choice of consenting to the delay or canceling the order for a full and prompt refund. If you do not respond to a notice of delay, we will treat the order as canceled and refund you in full.

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.

4. INTERNATIONAL FULFILLMENT

We use international fulfillment partners.

Orders ship directly from locations outside the United States, primarily China, to your address in the United States. Goods do not transit through Germany at any point, and Marbury Lane does not maintain warehousing, retail or fulfillment operations in either the United States or Germany.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this fulfillment model.

5. SPLIT SHIPMENTS

Orders containing multiple items, including multi-item bundle orders, may ship in separate parcels and may arrive on different dates.

This is normal and does not mean an item is missing or lost. Please allow for all parcels to arrive before reporting a shortage. If tracking shows all parcels delivered and part of your order is genuinely missing, contact us and we will put it right at no cost to you.

6. DELAYS

Delays may occur due to factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Carrier delays and capacity limits
Customs processing, inspection or clearance
Weather or natural events
Labor disruptions or strikes
High seasonal demand
Global logistics disruptions

Shipping delays alone do not automatically qualify an order for a refund, though your rights under section 3 above and under our Refund and Returns Policy are unaffected.

7. FREE SHIPPING

We offer free standard shipping on all United States orders.

Expedited shipping is not currently available. Where a product page offers priority handling as a bundle benefit, that shortens processing as described in section 8 of the Refund and Returns Policy. It does not change the shipping service or guarantee a delivery date.

8. TRACKING

Tracking information is provided by email once the order has shipped.

Tracking updates may take 3 to 5 business days to appear in the carrier's system, and international parcels commonly show no movement for several days between handover and the first arrival scan. This is normal.

Carrier tracking status is treated as the primary record of delivery.

9. ACCURATE SHIPPING ADDRESS

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by:

Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Address changes submitted after the order was placed
Carrier access issues at the delivery point

Address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed. Contact us immediately if you notice an error and we will try, without any commitment, to correct it before dispatch.

10. SECURE DELIVERY

Jewelry parcels are small, light and attractive to thieves, and they are easy to remove from a doorstep or an unsecured mailbox.

Standard shipping does not include a signature requirement, and we cannot add one. If your delivery point is not secure, we recommend shipping to an address where someone can receive the parcel, or to a workplace or a carrier pickup location. Section 12 sets out our position on parcels that tracking records as delivered, and it is worth reading before you choose a delivery address.

11. UNDELIVERABLE OR REFUSED PARCELS

If a parcel is returned to the fulfillment partner because of an incorrect or incomplete address, a refusal of delivery, or a failure to claim it, you are responsible for any reshipping costs. Alternatively you may request a refund under our Refund and Returns Policy if you are within your return window.

12. RISK OF LOSS, AND LOST OR STOLEN PARCELS

Risk of loss generally passes to you when the carrier records delivery to the address you provided at checkout.

Parcels recorded as delivered. If tracking shows a parcel as delivered but you cannot find it:

Check with neighbors, building management, and any secure or alternative delivery location the carrier may have used
Contact the carrier directly, and consider filing a report with them
Then contact us for assistance

While we are generally not responsible for parcels lost or stolen after delivery has been recorded, we review these cases reasonably and on their individual facts, and we will help you where we can.

Parcels lost in transit. If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, meaning there is no record of delivery, contact us so we can review the case and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

13. DELAYED ORDERS

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, contact us at support@marburylane.com. We will review the situation and assist as appropriate.

14. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TARIFFS

Your order is imported into the United States and is subject to United States customs law, including applicable duties, tariffs, taxes and processing fees. The United States no longer applies a general low-value duty exemption to commercial parcels, so import charges can apply to a shipment of any value.

Applicable import duties and fees are handled within our fulfillment and shipping process and are accounted for in the price you pay at checkout. You are not expected to pay import duties or customs fees on delivery.

Customs treatment is nonetheless determined by United States authorities and carriers and is outside our control, and we cannot guarantee that a charge will never be requested. In the uncommon event that a carrier or customs broker asks you to pay import duties or fees at or before delivery, do not pay the charge and do not refuse the parcel. Contact us first at support@marburylane.com with a photograph of the notice and we will deal with it. If you have already paid such a charge, contact us with the receipt.

Customs processing is outside our control and may affect delivery timelines.

15. SALES TAX

Any applicable United States state or local sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout in accordance with applicable law and the destination of your order.

Prices shown on product pages are exclusive of sales tax unless stated otherwise. Shipping is free, so no shipping charge is added at checkout.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics and pandemics, war, civil disturbance, labor disruptions, customs or regulatory action, carrier failure, or global supply chain disruption.
